Representative Lou Lang ( sponsor of the gaming bill) just addressed all stake holders ( thoroughbred, harness, racetracks, all lobbyist & managements) to inform us that SB737 will be called for a vote this evening.   Rep. Lang could not offer an exact time frame, he could only guarantee that SB737 will be called for a vote after the house considers legislation to increase state income tax. Also, both Rep Lou Lang & All stake holders feel confident that our efforts are bearing fruit & our roll call is strong. Nevertheless we can take nothing for granted.  In addition to your local representative, you must also continue to call your local senator to support SB737 as amended by the house.  Again, the house will vote on SB737 today and then it must be approved for a final time by the senate later this evening.
