The CTHF is the benevolent arm of the ITHA. Established with concerns for the safety and well being of our members, our association provides assistance with the following:
Medical program for Trainers and Assistant Trainers who meet certain criteria.
Medical assistance for salaried Grooms, Hotwalkers, and Exercise Persons who meet certain criteria.
Scholarship program for eligible member's children.
Summer program at Arlington Park for the children of the backside (in cooperation between Arlington Park, District 214, and the ITHA).
Eyeglass reimbursement
Prescription program available to trainers and backstretch personnel (ID cards are provided for personnel of the track holding specific types of licenses and renewed on a yearly basis)
