The Illinois Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (ITHA), its Board of Directors, Executive Director, and over 5,000 owners and trainers, which the ITHA represents, wishes to congratulate Richard L. Duchossois upon becoming the recipient of the 2011 Ellen & Herbert Moelis Equine Savior Award for Philanthropy.

Mr. D (as he is affectionately referred to) has historically lead Illinois as an equine advocate and is largely credited with the rebirth of the Illinois racing and breeding industry.
