Conference call with Illinois Department of Agriculture

Monday, Nov. 19th, 1pm

ITHA, in conjunction with Hawthorne Race Course, has scheduled a

conference call with the Illinois Department of Agriculture to discuss

the EHV outbreak at Hawthorne. Expected participants in the call from the

Department are Larry O'Brien, Chief Policy Advisor, Mark Ernst, DVM,

Bureau Chief of Animal Health and Welfare, and Charlyn Fargo, Bureau

Chief of County Fairs and Horse Racing.

ITHA members that have specific questions they would like us to ask

during the call, please submit them to me by 9:00 am on Monday.

Send questions to Mike@ITHARacing.com, or drop off your questions

at the ITHA trailer on the backside of Hawthorne between 7am and 2pm.

We will do our best to get as many questions answered in the time we have.

Hopefully all of our concerns and questions will be addressed.

We expect to post a phone number by Monday morning that ITHA members

can call to listen in to the conference call, which will originate at the ITHA

trailer.
