SB 744 PASSES COMMITTEE 8-3 NEXT STEP HOUSE
Congratulations Horsemen we have moved one step closer to our ultimate goal of getting slots at the race track. The Senate Bill 744 made it past the Executive Committee today in a vote of 8-3 and will now proceed to the House of Representatives sometime Saturday, Sunday, or Monday due to the holiday weekend. It is important for the ITHA membership to now reach out to their local House and Senate Representatives and let them know that we need this bill passed. Please help us get SB 744 passed to help benefit the state of Illinois and horse racing in Illinois.
